Training Center Teaching Jobs in China
We are now looking for enthusiastic, positive and qualified English teachers who have a genuine desire to teach young learners aged 5 to 16 years old at our modern language schools / training centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Guangzhou or Hangzhou.

We have 10 campuses in different locations across Beijing as well as schools in other exciting cities around China and strive to provide the highest possible quality of English education to all our students. Since 2012, our schools have accumulated practical English training methods. We attract a large number of students from primary school to junior high school and provide them with unique and effective solutions for English language acquisition. Our modern work environment is designed to stimulate creativity so both students and teachers can feel comfortable to learn and express themselves. We provide an immersive English education which has a balanced focus on speaking, listening, reading and writing skills and we encourage our students to communicative naturally and with confidence. Our teachers create and develop a fun and positively challenging learning environment.

With a maximum class size of 15 students, the foreign teachers and the young learners have more opportunity to interact with one another and class management is smoother. We put emphasis on quality education and we achieve that through our professional teachers’ training, on-going management support and promotional opportunities given to all the teachers.

The Curriculum

Our cutting-edge curriculum brings the world to the classroom, and the classroom to life with a six-level integrated-skills NGL series that helps our students develop great fluency in English. Learners explore real world content through stunning images, text and video to strengthen their existing global connections while learning English.

Our students experience the excitement and joy of learning what world-class explorers, scientists, writers and photographers experienced. Since our inception in 2012, our goal has been to inspire, illuminate and develop Learners of English by introducing learners to the world around them.

Teach English in Beijing

Beijing, capital of the People’s Republic of China, is the nation’s political, economic, cultural, educational and international trade and communication center. Located in northern China, close to the port city of Tianjin and partially surrounded by Hebei province, Beijing continues to be an exciting place for all things music, fashion and art with plenty of events and shows to attend.

There is a thriving expat community in Beijing, with the Sanlitun area being a popular destination for both expats and trendy locals to mix and mingle over drinks. One of the most important landmarks in the city is Tiananmen Square. This is the world’s largest public square and a must see for all visitors from abroad and from other places in China.

Teach English in Shanghai

Known as the ‘Pearl of the Orient’, Shanghai is truly an international metropolis in every sense of the word. The most vibrant and progressive city in China, Shanghai is the economic and cultural center, blending an incredible mix of Eastern and Western culture. On one side of the mighty Yangtze River flowing through Shanghai is the Pu Dong district, rural farm land just 20 years ago, it is now the financial and commercial hub with skyscrapers stretching ever higher. Along the western bank of the river, the iconic Bund is a reminder of Shanghai’s colonial past featuring grand European architecture.

Teach English in Tianjin

Tianjin is located 85 miles east of Beijing, near the coast. The capital can be reached in half an hour by fast train. As China’s third largest city with a population of over 10 million people, Tianjin has a rich history and has witnessed many important events since it was given its name in 1404. Evidence of its history is still visible in the old British and Italian concessions, the port and European architectures. The best known scenic spots and historical sites include the Panshan Scenery Area, the Park on the Water, the Garden of Tranquility, the Palace of Heavenly Empress and even a section of the Great Wall of China at the Huangya Pass.

Teach English in Shenzhen

Shenzhen is located in the southern portion of the Guangdong Province, on the eastern shore of the Pearl River Delta. Neighboring the Pearl River Delta and Hong Kong (located just south of Shenzhen), Shenzhen's location gives it a geographical advantage for economic development. In 1980, the first Special Economic Zone of China was built in Shenzhen. From then on, Shenzhen become a highlighted city of China, one known for its rapid economic growth.

Teach English in Chengdu

Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan Province, which is known as the "Heavenly State" (Tian Fu Zhi Guo). Being the natural habitat of cute giant pandas, Chengdu is located in the west of Sichuan Basin and in the center of Chengdu Plain. It covers a total area of 12.3 thousand square kilometers with a population of over 11 million.

Teach English in Hangzhou

There is a famous saying in China: 上有天堂 下有苏杭, “Above, there is heaven. Below there is Hangzhou and Suzhou.” Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang province, is a city steeped in history and renowned for its scenic beauty. With a history stretching back over 2,000 years, Hangzhou gained prominence during the Southern Song Dynasty as China’s capital and a major hub for trade and culture. Today, it is a vibrant metropolis with a population of over 10 million, blending its ancient charm with modern innovation. The city is perhaps most famous for West Lake, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has inspired poets, artists, and scholars for centuries. Hangzhou’s historical landmarks, including ancient pagodas, temples, and tea plantations, stand in contrast to its role as a modern tech hub, home to companies like Alibaba.

Teach English in Guangzhou

Guangzhou, a prosperous metropolis full of vigor, is the capital city of Guangdong Province located along the south coastline of China. Being an excellent port on the Pearl River navigable to the South China Sea, and with fast accessibility to Hong Kong and Macau, Guangzhou serves as the political, economic, scientific, educational and cultural center in Guangdong area. Guangzhou is considered as the paradise for food-lovers in south China. A large amount of time-honored restaurants and quality new restaurants serve various authentic Guangzhou dishes, snacks, and drinks.

Main Responsibilities

-Maximum of 30 hours per week (including teaching, training and meetings) no office hours
-Schedule: Monday to Friday classes with weekends off (can vary)
-Summer and winter camps the schedule is different
-Class size: maximum of 15 students per class
-Student age: 5 – 16 year olds
-Plan lessons and classroom activities
-Attend staff meeting and teacher training
-Teach students fluency in verbal, listening, reading and written English
-Introduce students to western cultures and festivals

Compensation

-Excellent salary: 24,000 – 28,000 RMB per month
-4,000 RMB contract completion bonus
-6,000 RMB flight allowance on completion of contract
-Annual salary increase
-National holidays plus 12 paid personal holidays
-Legal ‘Z’ work visa provided (3,000 RMB paid towards the costs)
-Health insurance provided
-Airport pickup on arrival
-Professional pre-job training with on-going program supervision

Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree required
-TEFL certificate 120 hours plus required (No TEFL? – We recommend INTESOL www.GoldStarTeachers.com/INTESOL) (no TEFL required if you have an Education degree)
-Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland
-Teaching experience preferred but not required as training provided
-Clean criminal record check
-Fluency in oral and written English
-Professional, positive and culturally aware
-Energetic, friendly and hard-working
