ILSAN HAGWON PART-TIME (F VISA ONLY: MUST ALREADY BE IN KOREA) ENGLISH TEACHER NEEDED STARTING END OF APRIL (FEMALE GYOPO PREFERRED)

We are looking for a part-time English teacher (F-4, F-2 Visa / Korean National) with at least 1-2 years of experience teaching English. This position will start at the end of April.

🔸 Job Summary
Location: Hogok, Ilsan, Goyang-si. Ilsan Station is a 3-5 min walk
Start Date: April 28, 2025 (Summer Term)
Working Hours: Tuesday + Thursday 4:00 - 7:00
Pay: 20,000 won - 30,000 won per hour depending on experience
Age Group: Elementary grade 3 - 6
Teaching Hours: 6 hours/week (can provide more hours after one term)
Housing: no allowance provided
Vacation: no paid vacation provided. We DO have classes on RED DAYS

✅Qualifications

MUST have at least 1- 2 years of teaching experience

MUST have an apostilled diploma and apostilled FBI background check (We can assist with the process if hired.)

MUST get the mandatory health check

Preference: A female with an F-2 or F-4 Visa or a Korean national who can speak fluent English and has studied abroad

Preference: Education / English major (not mandatory)

📌 Position Overview

Teach students from Grade 3 to Grade 6 reading comprehension and academic writing

Classes will consist of less than 8 students

Must THOROUGHLY PREPARE for each class and grade tests and writing assignments

Must take this position seriously and be friendly with kids

May have to briefly speak with parents if parents are curious about their child’s performance

📍 Location

About a 3 -5-minute walk from Ilsan Station 

🕒 Working Hours

Tue/Thu: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Approx. 6 teaching hours per week

(As the term progresses, there may be more opportunities to get more classes and hours)

🗓️ Start Date

April 28, 2025 

Training and orientation will be given beforehand

💰 Salary

20,000 - 30,000 won per hour (3.3% tax)

(Varies on experience)

Because this is a part-time position, no housing allowance/benefits or severance. We do have classes on red days However, we will take one week off in July and in December (unpaid) as well as one week off during the week of Chuseok and Lunar New Year (unpaid)
