Textbooks: Collins Cobuild English Language Dictionary

This is not an advertisement for a particular dictionary - Collins Cobuild English Language Dictionary. I strongly recommend any ESL students to use it. I have been using this dictionary for more than 8 years now and they now have a new edition with the introduction of a 5-diamond system, indicating the frequency of usage of a particular word in our real world after researching their international database throughout these years. I always feel that if I had a chance to have this reference book when I was in secondary school 24 years ago, my English would be much better. It is very common that chinese students prefer to use English-Chinese dictionary rather than English-English one. To improve our English, I strongly recommend to use an English-English dictionary.
