Video: High School DVD's - Buffy the Vampire Slayer

My students loved to watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It shows American ways in an upper middle class life style. It shows different styles of people, and how some people keep secrets. This is great as even some feel they are the only ones with secrets. Everyday life is also shown, Buffy's mother and father are divorced. If you are working on body language in your class, your studetns will love Buffy 4x11 "Hush" twenty minutes of talking, then the characters loose their voices. The fighting is very low compared to some of their TV shows and the blood and guts factor is pretty low too. Even though some students say its scary and it makes then too "nervous" to sleep, when asked would you rather something else, its "NO!!! I love Buffy!" Its a hit!
